Sketch-up Assignment

This is a image of the sketch-up building similar to the perspective that I drew by hand. So far I am enjoying Sketch-up and the many things it has to offer.

Sketchbook Assignment - object from my room

This is all five of my required drawings. The first drawing I chose to experiment with a technique. I used a hatching motion but let the actual hatching define the form of the object. For the other drawings objects are outlined and shaded by hatching. I also tried using several techniques such as a break in a long line and a dot at the end of a line. I really like using these two techniques.

Lunch at EL Carreton

Our drawing class was treated to lunch at El Carreton. These are a few sketches that I did in the middle of ordering and receiving my food. I tried using several techniques such as quick hit-go-hit lines, dots, breaks in a line, and the professional dot at the end of a line. I really enjoyed each of these techniques and I thought that it improved my drawing slightly.
